Meeting Ian at the bus station yesterday was unexpected but wonderful. For a split second i told myself “darn, i cant sleep & listen to music on the way”, knowing too well that we would be catching up with each others’ lives. Ian is my boy best friend, we meet since high school in Don Bosco.

I admit we did had “history” he almost became my first love way back in 2nd year high school had he not failed to tell me the “magic word” the day i supposed to said “yes”. But then, we are not really meant for each other, instead we are destined to be the best of friends. That unfortunate event made our friendship grew strong, we became each others confidante, supporter and encourager.

Ian’s personality and mine are opposites. That’s the reason we “click”, some even teased us that “opposite attracts” we might end up together. It could be true, at some point in our so many ‘life conversations’ we had discounted on that possibility. But as of this writing, we’re both vocal that we are far from falling in love at the moment. We are enjoying adventures in our separate lives, we understood that this is not the time. Or the question, “will there be a time?” . Our answers would be a resounding “we dont know”. What we can tell is that we promised to be the best of friends at all times.

For now i park this case.
